Dato Colonel Aaron Tan Honoured with Meritorious Service Medal for Lifesaving Aid and Support in Perlis

Dato Colonel Aaron Tan Choong Han, a distinguished volunteer and philanthropist, was awarded the Category 5 - Meritorious Service Medal by Governor-General Dato Lai See Ming of St. John Ambulance Malaysia.

This national recognition celebrates Dato Colonel Aarons unwavering dedication and philanthropic contributions to the State of Perlis. Among his notable donations include:

• Three Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) valued at RM30,000, now installed at strategic public locations:

  • KTM Arau Station

  • Kuala Perlis Ferry Terminal

  • Perlis State Secretariat Office

• A patient bed for the Tengku Fauziah Hospital, improving care for patients in need.
