UK Safety Camera Network Calls on London and Surrey High-Street Retailers to Assess CCTV Security

London, United Kingdom Oct 19, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - UK Safety Camera Network Ltd (USCN), a CCTV services company established in July 2026, is encouraging independent retailers, convenience stores, cafés, salons and other high-street businesses in London and Surrey to reassess their CCTV arrangements and consider whether their security systems meet their needs.

Based in Wallington, USCN offers bespoke CCTV design, installation, configuration, repairs and maintenance, with services tailored to individual premises, security requirements and budgets.

Alongside its commercial services, USCN is developing a community safety camera network, supported by revenue from its commercial CCTV activities.

Tailored Approach to Business CCTV

For independent retailers, effective CCTV involves more than simply having cameras installed. Camera positioning, image clarity, recording reliability, footage retrieval and future expansion can all affect how well a system meets a businesss needs.

A convenience store may prioritise coverage of entrances and tills, while a café, salon or other retailer may have different requirements based on the layout and use of its premises.

USCN takes a consultative approach, assessing the property, the customers objectives and the available budget before recommending equipment and configuration options. The company offers free initial surveys and quotations, subject to location and project suitability, and can advise on new installations, additional cameras, recording equipment and upgrades to existing systems.

As a recently established company, USCN recognises the importance of showing prospective customers how it approaches real installations.

Its website features a residential CCTV case study documenting a completed phase of a bespoke installation, with further work at the property planned for spring. The published account describes the homeowners requirements, equipment including an AXIS camera and Blue Iris recording software, and considerations such as cable routing, recording needs, budget and future expansion.

The case study gives prospective commercial customers a practical example of USCNs installation approach and workmanship.

Community Safety Camera Network Supported by Commercial CCTV

USCN is also developing a community safety camera network intended to support public safety in local areas. Suitable property owners and occupiers will be able to volunteer mounting space, a modest electricity supply and internet connectivity for USCN-operated public-safety cameras.

USCN supplies, installs, maintains and operates the camera equipment, separately from any privately owned commercial CCTV system.

UK Safety Camera Network Ltd is a company limited by guarantee without share capital. Its Articles of Association prohibit distributions of profits to members. Surpluses from commercial activities are retained within the company to support its operations, maintenance and

public-safety network.

The network remains under development, and USCN is seeking suitable potential hosting locations.
